Brainstorming Session
It's Friday Eve and I'm trying to decide what direction I want to take my Friday column for the Tribune, so I've been wasting time on YouTube this morning trying to get some inspiration.I already know what I'm doing for my Sunday column - Super Bowl Sunday that is - and I can clue you into my mind on that one. I'm going to bridge the gap between being a fan of a team not playing in the Super Bowl and being a fan of a player in it. (For those that don't know, I am a Steelers fan but also very allegiant to Peyton Manning, thus my angle for the column.)
I have been leaning towards a column on Richard Sherman for Friday's paper, but I may decide to do something on a local Hall of Fame induction instead. Like I said, I'm still looking for the right spark to lead me to one or the other.
If I go with the Sherman angle, I most definitely will be sharing my thoughts on this:
Honestly, I never had a problem with this interview, given the time and place that it occurred. Also, given the man Sherman is off the field, I think it's appropriate to fill people in on the great things he does away from the game of football.
The more I think about it, I do want to tackle this Sherman thing and get my thoughts in print about it, and that will most likely be my direction for tomorrow's column.
So I guess that's about it for my Thursday morning brainstorming session. Have a blessed day everyone!
I'll leave you with a song for today, 'By and Down' by A Perfect Circle. I love this song……
Have a great day everybody!
